A Busy Weekend!

Not a very interesting post today I'm afraid!

Had a busier weekend than I thought it would be! We were supposed to have a guest but they didn't turn up. I'd cleared all my other plans from the weekend, so we spent the day catching up on odd things that needed to be done. To my surprise wanted to go shopping! That's not like Andy! Andy hates shopping! Well, I wasn't going to discourage this change of heart, especially as he took me out for a meal too!

We had a really nice meal at the Harvester, despite the grumbling family on the table next to us! Why do people have to be like that? I really hate it when adults swear at their children, it doesn't solve anything. It just shows you've lost it and teaches the children bad habits. Anyway! Enough of me moaning!

After some not so interesting food shopping, we just had enough time to get home and sit down for five minutes before heading out again! This time off to help out with Exodus, an group for children aged 11 up run by our church. We took them bowling and there were certainly in high spirits!

Back at home we decided to watch one of the films we'd rented from Blockbuster earlier and eat chocolate cake! What a nice end to the day! Even if it was Andy's choice; "Michael Clayton" (http://www.fox.co.uk/dvd/michael_clayton-11816/11816/ ) I didn't find the film that interesting really, it was ok, just not my sort of thing! Still, it was nice to have a bit of time to relax at the end of a day spent rushing around! I did have a hot chocolate with marshmallows on the top though so things weren't all bad! Haven't had one of those in a while! Really bad for your health, I know! But soooo yummy!!

We were at Andy's mum's for Sunday lunch. It was nice to have someone else doing the cooking!

After all that we were rather worn out so the plan for tonight is a quiet night in watching the other DVD we got out!
Right now though I'm going to go out for a walk! It's a lovely sunny day and spring has just started to show signs of appearing! What's more, Andy has left his work camera behind and I'm going to go and take some pictures!
